Pair of stacking chairs from the 1967 expo!
"This chair takes us back to the height of the 60s and 70s in Quebec. Modest seat with a tubular steel structure, it was created by Émile Métivier, founder of the company IPL... Manufactured in large quantities for the Expo 67 site, the chair - now dubbed M.E67 - was produced until the late 1970s. In total, around 150,000 units were sold."
These chairs were reissued in 2017 for the 50th anniversary of the expo. Offered for sale are the originals!
Measurements: seat height 17″ total height 30.75″
Condition: Great vintage condition. Some surface rust on the metal and one chair has cosmetic hairline cracks.
